Neighborhood Watch Events
Cherry Creek East is part of Denver Police Department's (DPD) District 3.  District 3 currently hosts the following monthly events. 
  • Denver Police District 3 Monthly Coffee with A Copy Event:  First Wednesday of every month from 10am - 12noon.  This event is hosted at Nixon's Coffee House at 695 E Louisiana Ave.  Stop by to say Hello and talk with your local law enforcement team about topics that matter to you in a casual atmosphere.  For more information on this event, you may contact Officer Young @
  • Monthly Community Meetings with COMMANDER ARAGON:  Learn about crime stats and trends that affect our local neighborhoods.  This monthly meeting is Hosted by Commander Aragon,  DPD District 3 Community Advisory Board (CAB) and law enforcement leadership.  It is typically scheduled the first Wednesday of each month starting at 6pm and hosted at the District 3 Station located at 1625 S. University Blvd. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to participate! Community Resource Officers are available at 5pm to answer your questions prior to the meeting.  If you can't make it early, there will be an opportunity for question and comments at the end of the meeting
    • NOTE:  Community Meetings with Commander Aragon are typically held at 6pm the first Wednesday of each month with the following exceptions:  August, holidays and voting.
  • Police Explorer Program information:  The Denver Police Explorer Program for youth ages 15-12 builds leadership skills and teamwork. An informational Open House will be held Wednesday, Sept. 27, at 7 p.m. at the Police Academy on 2155 N. Akron Way. The next session starts Nov. 8.
