District 5 2023 Fall Park Clean-Up
Sunday, October 1st, 2023, 8:30am to 11am at Pulaski Park
Councilwoman Sawyer, District 5 is hosting a park clean-up on half of the city-owned parks in her district.  This first round includes Pulaski Park!  All interested volunteers should sign-up through the District 5 Fall Park Clean-Up Day website, scroll down to Pulaski Park and click on the SIGN UP button next to SUPPORT VOLUNTEERS.
 
 
Volunteers have the option to meet at the Montclair Rec Center at 8:30 a.m. the day of the event for breakfast, coffee or juice, and to grab supplies. If you are unable to make it to the Montclai Rec Center the morning of the event, no worries.  You can still particpate!  You will just coordinate with the Lead Volunteer to ensure you get a bag of supplies.  Lead volunteer contact information will be shared with all registered volunteers one week before clean-up day.
 
The District 5 office will be providing a limited number of rakes and pickers that the lead volunteer will sign-out. Please feel free to bring your own supplies. District 5 office will be providing the following supplies.
 
Gloves
Hand Sanitizer 
Dog Waste Bags 
Bottles of Water 
Trash Bags

Monthly CCEA Board Meeting
Monday, October 16th, 2023, 5:30pm to 6:30pm at ZOOM
The CCEA Board meets the 3rd Monday of each month at 5:30pm via Zoom (exception - the November meeting will be on Nov. 28th 2023 at 5:30).

CCEA Members-Only Fall Festivity

Denver Police-District 3 Neighborhood Watch Action & Awareness Training
Tuesday, October 24th, 2023, 6pm to 7pm at DPD District 3 Station @ 1625 S. University Blvd
Denver Police Dept-District 3 Neighborhood Watch Action and Awareness Training:  Tuesday, October 24th from 6PM-7PM @ DPD District 3 Station located at 1625 S. University Blvd.  This program offers a partnership between officers and the community members they serve.  Officers promote neighborhood connectivity by encouraging neighbors to get to know one another, reporting suspicious behavior to the police, and by creating awareness through Implicit Bias education - reminding neighbors - it's the person's behavior, not the person to be mindful of when observing and reporting suspicious behavior to the Police.

Cherry Creek Steering Committee Meeting
