Dear Cherry Creek East Neighbors,

 

Sadly, COVID-19 has necessitated the cancellation of our "Denver Days" Block Party, an annual summer event established with the goal of strengthening our neighborhood relationships.

This also means that we will not be able to get together with Cherry Creek East's non- profit partner, Metro Caring, an organization dedicated to meeting people's immediate food needs while addressing the root cause of hunger.  The food insecurity is greater than ever before with unemployment  soaring in Colorado resulting in a tripling of the number of Coloradans seeking the services of Metro Caring for themselves and their families.

Therefore, we are writing to invite you to attend a Virtual Tour of Metro Caring through Zoom, on Tuesday, August 4, 2020 at 1 pm.   The call should take about 30 minutes. Please let us know if you can join the call by  emailing us at janeoppenheim50@gmail.com and completing and returning the short attached form.  Metro Caring will send you a Zoom link within a day of the virtual tour.
