DPD Community Academy
Tuesday, May 2nd, 2023, 6pm to 8pm at District 2 Station @ 3921 Holly Street
The Denver Police Department (DPD) Community Academy is a multi-session program conducted multiple times a year, with an average of 25-35 attendees. It is designed to familiarize community members with the “how/what/why” of police procedures and to provide an opportunity for the community to interact with officers and ask questions.  The Community Academy will run each Tuesday from 6-8pm starting April 4th continuing through May 2nd at the DPD District 2 Station located at 3921 Holly Street.  For more details on this academy visit the City of Denver Community Academy website.  
DPD District 3 Monthly Coffee with A Cop
Wednesday, May 3rd, 2023, 10am to 12pm at Nixon's Coffee House
Cherry Creek East is part of Denver Police Department's (DPD) District 3.  Each month DPD District 3 hosts Coffee with A Cop at Nixon's Coffee House located at 695 E Louisiana Ave.  To learn more about this event visit CCEA Neighborhood Watch Events.
District 3: Monthly Meeting with Commander Aragon

Hosted by Commander Aragon and our DPD District 3 Law Enforcement Leadership:  Denver Police District 3 Community Advisory Board (CAB) hosts a monthly meeting at the District 3 station located 1625 S. University Blvd.  Everyone is welcome and encouraged to participate! Learn about crime stats and trends that affect our local neighborhoods. 
 
Community Resource Officers are available prior to the meeting (beginning at 5pm) to answer your questions, but questions and comments can also be asked at the end of this meeting.  For more information on these monthly meetings, please visit CCEA Neighborhood Watch Events.
Denver Mayors Race: Meet the Candidates

The Cherry Creek Steering Committee, along with the Cherry Creek Alliance, is hosting a Mayoral Runoff Debate on May 3rd at 6:30pm.  This is a sold out event but a Zoom link will be available to dial in and listen live.  The Zoom link wil be posted on the Cherry Creek North Neighborhood Assoiation website by May 1st.
 
The Cherry Creek Alliance is a partnership of three key neighborhood entities – Cherry Creek North, Cherry Creek Shopping Center, and the Cherry Creek Chamber of Commerce – to advocate on behalf of the greater Cherry Creek business community.
DOTI: Residential Parking Permit Rules & Regulations

Denver’s Department of Transportation & Infrastructure (DOTI) Residential Parking Permit (RPP) is creating rules and regulations (R&R) to address emerging resident and business needs as Denver continues to evolve.  As a reminder, the RPP Program is an on-street curbside and parking tool implemented in residential areas near commercial, institutional, and/or event-based land uses to support resident access. 
 
A virtual public hearing, which will be recorded, is scheduled for Friday, May 5th at 11:00am for receiving comments on the proposed RPP R&R. 
 
 
Written comments can be submitted to parking.operations@denvergov.org. Additionally, the RPP project website includes more information on the proposed R&R.
 
Monthly CCEA Board Meeting

The CCEA Board meets the 3rd Monday of each month at 5:30pm via Zoom.
