Our city council representative Amanda Sawyer will hold a Zoom meeting with the membership of Cherry Creek East. on Tuesday, April 8, from 5:30 to 6:30pm.  Among other topics, she will share the concept of a General Improvement District which is being proposed for residential areas of CCE and CCN (subject to vote).  Among the benefits possible through a GID is enhanced neighborhood security. This session offers the opportunity to ask questions about the initiative and other city matters as time permits.

Volunteers are needed at parks throughout Denver District 5 to spruce-up parks and bus stops. Locations vary, but include the City of Karmiel Park and the Cherry Creek Trail between University Blvd. and Alameda Ave. The meeting place is City of Karmiel Park: i.e., the grass area next the mall at Bayaud and Steel streets, adjacent to the East Parking lot entrance.
