Members are welcome to join us for our Annual Meeting which will be held on Zoom.  Learn more about the meeting below. Register for the meeting by clicking on this link
You may recall my email in March advising that we were postponing the CCEA Annual meeting until August. The postponement was due to concerns about the Coronavirus. We hoped we might. be able to hold a traditional, in person, meeting by August.
That hasn't proven out. At our meeting last Monday, the Board decided that a traditional meeting was unlikely to be safe in August. Not wanting to postpone this important meeting further, we elected to hold the Annual Meeting through Zoom.
The meeting will take place Monday, August 03, 2020 at 6:00 pm. All Members are welcome to attend. Please RSVP by clicking on this link. We will send instructions to join the Zoom meeting.
 Board Member Election
A key purpose for the annual meeting is to elect new board members. Last year we moved to two-year terms, with approximately half the board coming up for election at this meeting. While some members will stand for re-election, we need new people to step up as well.  That is the best way to keep our organization vibrant.
We have appointed a Nominating Committee, me, Amy Larson and Patrick O'Toole, to help recruit new candidates. If you would be interested in running, and are a Resident Member in good standing, please send an email to (or reach out to anyone on the Nominating Committee). We will be happy to answer questions and help move your candidacy forward. People with skills or an interest in architecture, real estate law, development, city government and planning are great but good people interested in moving the organization forward are always welcome.
How Will the Election Be Held?
We are working on the final procedures and will report them when finalized. Online voting is a likely option with mail being a second option for those who don't want to use the website to vote.
We hope you will consider serving on the board. Help us protect the neighborhood  and make it an even better place to live.
