The neighborhood is encouraged to join an information session on a proposed General Improvement District (GID) benefitting residents of Cherry Creek East and Cherry Creek North. A GID is a taxed, special district established to fund enhancements such as security, place-making, lighting, landscaping and infrastructure. The proposal is in an early feasibility-study stage, and would require voter approval by CCE and CCN residents for implementation.
