Denver Regional Council of Governments (DRCOG) is leading a study of Alameda Avenue that aims to improve mobility and safety for all users and plan for future transit investments, while still preserving the character of the corridor. Cherry Creek East has been identified by the study’s steering committee as one neighborhood that will be specifically impacted by the Alameda Corridor Study. DRCOG is currently collecting public input through interactive map and hosting community focus groups.
If you would like to sign up and be part of one of the focus groups, you may do so through the DRCOG Alameda Avenue Study website. The focus group that will be discussing the segments closest to Cherry Creek East (Segment 4) will be meeting Saturday, November 11th from 2PM-3PM at George Washington High School. Registration to attend the focus group meeting is required.
