Our Mission is to make Cherry Creek East the best neighborhood in the Denver metro area. We use the funds we receive from our members to protect our interests, put on programs and improve the area. Dues are only $25 a year, which is about the cost of a meal in one of our fine Cherry Creek restaurants.
Members should review at the end of each year. If you are not yet a member, please send an email with your contact info to We will have the automated membership running shortly.
Thank you for joining us in this worthwhile cause.

New Website
CCEA has developed a new website to provide more information about the Association and our great neighborhood. Check out the new site at
The site goes beyond just dishing up web pages. We will use it for membership management, polls, news releases, and more. Give us a couple months to get everything going but it will allow us to better serve your needs.

Photo Contest: Calling all photographers. We would like to include your photos of life in Cherry Creek on our website. The best submissions will be added to our home page with a special mention. Please send photos in original electronic form to

Association Updates
The Board meets at 5 PM on the third Monday every month in the second floor conference room on 155 South Madison Street. Our next meeting is Monday, June 17, 2019. All CCEA members are welcome to join and contribute.
Here is an update from the Development Committee, which monitors significant development projects in our neighborhood on behalf of all residents.
1. Colorado Gateways (East Side of Harrison/ Bayaud & East Side of Harrison and First).  There is a project to build residential and/or commercial buildings on empty lots and to replace abandoned buildings at the corners of First Avenue and East Side of Harrison and the north and south corners of Bayaud and the east side of Harrison. The developer has requested an increase in zoning from three to five stories. The developer has also requested additional zoning changes. A meeting is planned on July 10th at which the developer, McKinnon & Associates, will explain his plans and at which we will ask for community feedback. A notice with more details about the planned July 10th meeting will be mailed to CCEA members.
2. 50 S. Steele. The owners of the current building, The Broe Group, want to add two new buildings on the North and South sides where there are currently parking lots and are asking for a zoning variance to build 12 stories for all three buildings. If approved, the new structure would extend from Ellsworth to Bayaud. The developer has held one community meeting at which several residents were in attendance and has been asked to hold an additional meeting at which community feedback will be solicited.
3. Village Center (Madison/Bayaud). The owners of buildings at the Madison/ Bayaud intersection have requested that the Development Committee and Board review preliminary plans for redevelopment of their properties. The “Village Center” concept is mentioned in the 2012 Cherry Creek Area Plan.
We will be conducting CCE community meetings for these projects which have various timelines. Please watch for notifications of these meetings in your e-mail inbox, on our website and Facebook page.  We want your feedback about them at these meetings.
Denver Design Overlays: So that future development will reflect the high quality of life CCE currently enjoys, we are working with the city to revise our CCE Design Overlay for new commercial and residential construction. If adopted by the Denver City Council, these new regulations would not require changes to existing buildings but only affect new construction and would become part of the zoning code for CCE.
